One time I was shoplifting medicine and an employee called me out. So her co-worker came and asked to check my bag. I opened it with the medicine plainly visible, thinking I was busted for sure.
She announced that my bag was empty while giving me a wink.
I avoided a $125 fine and time in jail both of which I couldn’t afford. And I got the medicine I needed.
If you are in the service industry this is what you could be to someone. A savior.
Don’t turn in shoplifters. It’s not your stuff.
